Select the 1500 Gold option because money is easy to get. As a reward, Walter will grant you a wish in return for some gold.Return to Cyseal and speak with Walter to complete the quest.Read the Well Teleportation Scroll whilst standing next to William to teleport him back to Walter.Note that the second option will cause the three immaculate groups in the frozen forest to leave, so be sure to finish those events first. You can ask him to either stop the lava explosions or the blizzard. Either convince him or pay him to get the wish. While talking to William, you may ask for a wish.You can find William just northeast of the Hiberheim Forest Waypoint, at the Fortress.You will need this scroll to teleport William back to his brother. After killing King Boreas, you can enter Boreas's Treasure Room in his castle to find a Well Transportation Scroll.You will then need to complete Eternal Winter and make your way to Hiberheim before you can continue.He is a well that will tell you about William McWishing Well, his brother who was kidnapped by King Boreas of Hiberheim, and that he can't grant wishes without him. This quest begins when you speak with Walter McWishing Well southwest from the undead-filled Church in cyseal.+ 14230 XP (includes optional charisma experience from William's wish).You may not be able to complete this quest right away as it requires you to complete Eternal Winter and kill King Boreas in Hiberheim. You'll receive this quest from Walter in Cyseal. If you can convince him to grant you a wish, he can either end the snowstorm in Hiberheim or put an end to the fireballs.The Wishing Brother is a Side Quest in Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition. (Optional) Once you explore Northern Hiberheim, where the volcanoes are constantly lobbing fireballs and defeat The Guardian, a new conversation option opens with William.(Note: You can resolve the quest and save the wish for later, as you get loot according to your level) Ask Walter for a wish and choose the dialogue option to give him 1500 gold (The loot you get is worth a lot more - check inventory for loot is there).Return to Walter's location in Cyseal to complete the quest.This will teleport William back to Walter. Stand next to William and read the Well Teleportation Scroll.There's a tough boss in this area so it might be easier to have Walter teleport you directly to William as in step 1. It offered a variety of options, including a level up, a boost of 5 or 10 for a specific attribute. After deafeating Boreas and obtaining the Well Teleportation Scroll from his treasure room, go to William who is located directly northeast of the Hiberheim Forest Waypoint Portal. There was indeed a Wishing Well in Divine Divinity, hidden in a corner of the Dwarven Woods on the east side of the world map.You can travel to William now for some XP but there is little else you can do until you complete Eternal Winter. Talk to Walter and find out what happened to his brother, William McWishing Well.This quest is obtained when you speak to Walter McWishing Well, a talking well that can be found Southwest of the Cyseal Old Church, next to the ruined entrance to the church. The Wishing Brother is a quest in Divinity: Original Sin.
